12th April 2022 Wing Boarding: Llanfairfechan Wind Direction: SW Wind Stength: F3 then F4 Surf / Sea State: Chop Air Temperature: 13 Sea Temperature: 8.7 Weather: Overcast Max Speed: Distance Covered: Mid afternoon was 0 knot then as forecast wind swung west and out a bit before 18:30 and back in bit before 20:00. Light to start with but still amazed to get going, but find it harder port tack. Reckon up on 10 knots, maybe less on starboard tack, and keep going in 6-7, had to leg pump in first run which was tiring. Wind picked up nicely, but still can't gybe. Rik said need to practice turning tighter, next time. |
